ChromaNik Sunrise C18-SAC

Sunrise C18-SAC is a column that can obtain the peak shape of excellent basic compounds without end-capping.

Our proprietary Silanol Activity Control (SAC) technology inactivates only the silanol groups that cause the tailing of basic compounds. In the Sunrise C18-SAC column, the interaction of the silanol group can also be used for separation and it has different selectivity from the general C18 column with end-capping, so it is also useful as a 2nd choice column.

Sunrise C18 SAC

Sunrise columns are unique in that Silanol Activity Control (SAC) technology not only adds an interaction by silanol groups, but also a symmetrical peak for basic compounds.
A long chain C28 phase shows high steric selectivity and larger retention for fat-soluble compounds than a C18 phase.
Both C18-SAC and C28 phase can achieve unique separation which a conventional C18 cannot do.
