ChromaNik Sunniest Cyano

Cyano columns are usually prepared by bonding a cyanopropyl silane to the silica. This results in a column that has some polar functionality due to the CN group and some nonpolar functionality due to the propyl group. Thus, the column has intermediate polarity and is suitable for use in In the reversed-phase and the reversed-phase modes. phase mode, the Cyano phase significantly reduces dehydratity, even Hydrophobicity of Cyano phase is much less than PFP or C1 Phase. Cyano phase is used for special cases. For example, it is suitable for the separation of Benzalkonium chloride. Since the dehydratity of the cyano phase is sufficiently low, it is possible to avoid the adsorption of cations by the silanol group and peak tailing.

Description

Sunniest Cyano

Sunniest series achieved the perfect end-capping through the development of their own method.

This column achieves high durability, under acidic and basic pH conditions, by the deactivation of residual silanol groups.

This series also includes UHPLC columns, for quick separations, which is the Sunniest C18-HT 2μm particle.

A novel bonding technique (patent-pending) with a unique trifunctional silyl reagent was developed. This silyl reagent can bond with any silanol groups on silica surfaces. This column achieves high durability under acidic and basic pH conditions by the deactivation of residual silanol groups.

Sunniest columns provide the researcher and developer with an array of tools for the purification of complex biological samples such as proteins, peptides, polypeptides, nucleic bases, nucleotides, etc.

Sunniest also offers excellent reproducibility under 100% aqueous conditions.

Features Include:

  • Little residual silanol groups through a unique bonding technique
  • Excellent stability under acidic pH conditions
  • Sharp peak shape for acidic, basic chelating compounds
  • RP-AQUA is available under 100% aqueous conditions and shows
  • Enhanced retention of polar compounds
