ChromaNik SunShell PFP

SunShell PFP columns are reverse-phase columns with high stereoselectivity. In addition to hydrophobic interactions, hydrogen-bonding ligand interactions, electrostatic interactions, and π-π interactions affect compound separation. Compared to C18 columns, this stationary phase is more suitable for isomer analysis and hydrophilic compound analysis. For basic compounds, it is possible to increase the retention of the compound by electrostatic interaction even under mobile phase conditions where the organic solvent concentration is high.

SunShell PFP

SunShell column has not only an inert surface but also high stability due to deactivated silanol groups. SunShell 2.6 μm column can be used on both HPLC and UHPLC because it shows 2 times lower back pressure than a sub 2 μm column.
SunShell C18 2.6 μm sized 100 x 4.6mm has the same performance as a totally porous C18 5 μm-sized 250×4.6mm so that the same separation can be achieved by both columns without changing the separation condition, which reduces analysis time by one-third.
