ChromaNik SunShell RP-Aqua
The SunShell RP-AQUA from Chromanik Technologies is a reverse phase column useful for the analysis of hydrophilic compounds that can be used for general reverse phase chromatography conditions as well as in aqueous mobile phases.
While a standard C18 column may have reduced retention under the condition of an aqueous mobile phase, the RP-AQUA can maintain a stable retention time.
A standard C18 AQ column for the aqueous mobile phase and the polar group-embedded C18 column tend to reduce the hydrophobicity of the stationary phase and increase the hydrophilicity. The Sunshell RP-AQUA column does not reduce the hydrophobicity of the stationary phase. It has the same unique end-capping as the Chromanik C18 columns which allows the RP Aqua Column to have high durability.
